What is the best method of repairing/hiding borer holes when restoring older pieces of furniture?

Assuming the piece has no value as an antique, use sawdust (preferably from the same or similar species of wood) mixed with wood glue. It stains much for evenly than wood dough from any manufacturer, and it's cheaper, too!
