Installed a pocket door in our bathroom downstairs...The door was already bored out for a door knob with an baclset of 2 3/4 inches..
Is there a place to purchase privacy door knobs that match our other doors so we can lock the door? ?

Pocket door blanks don't have holes bored in them. You got the wrong blank. the door won't open with a knob protruding from the flat surface. Pocket door locks are cut into the edge, and lay flat to the side surface.

There are pocket door privacy latches available. You can Google for them. Here's a link: Pocket/Sliding Door Hardware Category - The Hardware Hut (http://www.thehardwarehut.com/door_pocket.php)

There's a disconnect here somewhere. As said pocket doors don't use a regular lockset.I wonder if this is a terminology issue and it is something other than a traditional pocket door.If not I have to wonder why a regular door with a lockset bore hole was sold as a pocket door. Also often pocket doors are more narrow than a regular door.
