I have a Snowking HMSK80 on my Murray snowblower, I rebuilt the carb because the throttle flapper valve was frozen. It went back together fine but the engine races and the throttle has no effect. I thing the throttle spring is wrong or the governor is off as I had to remove the governor control arms and the throttle spring came off, I don't know which hole the spring goes in, nor wihch direction the spring tension should be. HELP!!!
Thanks, by the way it is snowing like crazy right now!

Grab the manual

Refer to page 32 diagram 22 for the linkage setup.
SERVICE
GOVERNOR ADJUSTMENT
With the engine stopped, loosen the screw holding the
governor clamp on the governor lever. Rotate the clamp
in a direction that will force the throttle shaft open and
allow the governor follower arm to rest on the governor
spool. Push the governor lever connected to the throttle
to the wide open throttle position. Hold the lever and
clamp in this position while tightening the screw
