Candel wax was spilled on an end table. How do I clean it without hurting the wood?

Hope this helps. I just recently removed candle wax from a darker wood end table.
The only thing that worked for me (since I
was afraid to use any chemicals on it)
was super fine steel wool. I rubbed ever
so gently on the wax and "voila" it stuck
to the steel wool. Get the finest steel wool you can buy.

If it's a lighter wood
like a pine or something, you may notice the
color from the candle wax may have penetrated
into the wood.

Good luck
