The screen assembly in the top of the gas tank keeps coming out when I remove the cap, and it won't stay lined up when I put the cap back on. Is there something that's supposed to hold it in place so the cutouts in the screen stay lined up with those in the tank opening? What's the best way to hold it in place if it's loose?

I don't know if there is anything to be done about it. I usually have the same problem, but most of those engines I work on no longer have the screen in them anyway. I don't use it in my stuff either. There's a fuel filter in the tank anyway, so I took my screen out on my Pwasher and gas compressors.
