Hello all,

I have a Toro 824, and I need to replace a worn, streched out auger belt. What steps do I need to perform to get at that pully. I have not worked on a snowthrower before, so all the help I can get is appreciated.

I know that I have to take off the auger and impeller, but not sure what bolts to remove, or procedures to be done.

Thanks.

You do not have to take off the impeller & auger. You just have to "split" the tractor half from the bucket (or scoop).
You do need a way to hold up the handle bars so they don't fall to the floor.

that did the trick...4 bolts later and the belt is in place
