I have an open loft that I want to convert into my 10 yr daughters room. The only thing is I don't want to make it a permant change. Right now there is half a wall and no door. i wanted to see if anyone had some ideas on how to give her more privacy that would look nice and not have to finish the wall or put up a door. Also, if anyone has any closet ideas (not one in there) that would be nice also.;)

tt...might want to post a pic of the area...
I would think a heavy insulated curtain on a track over the 1/2 wall, and bifold doors in the access area,if that is feasable. Not much for sound of course.
Minimal damage,just some screw holes

Hi turtletabby,
If you can post one or two pictures, I can try to sketch the situation and provide some ideas for sure

Im not sure if it is the same where you live but here in CA, if a closet is added to a room you can actually list it as a bedroom when/if you go to resell it. Just might be something to keep in mind for the future.
