I keep geeting a chime bat. code and the alarm starts to beep how do I fix this issue?

Check your user manual for your system: 6150RF is the _keypad_ model and works on about 2 dozen Honeywell/Ademco (and their clones) system models.
That said:
"chime" means that you have the chime feature turned on. 'Bat" means that you need a new system battery (located in the metal box that the motherboard resides in).
It will cost you about 25-35 dollars from a battery retailer, alarm system distributor, or a well stocked home center (the same type of battery is used in emergency flood lights and UPS systems). Just write down the amp/hour rating (on most systems it will be 5-7Ah)

Sorry its a vista 10se I have replaced that battery less than a year ago but will give it a shot thanx for the info
