I searched, but couldn't find if this was answered already: Can the disarm function of the wireless keyfobs (i.e. NX470) and/or wallfobs (i.e. EV-F319W) be disabled on the GE Concord 4 panel? And if so, how? Thanks! :)

I may be wrong (and I hope GE Guy will correct me) but looking at the programming instructions, keyfob arm/disarm seems to be an all or nothing type thing on a Concord 4.

Keyfob disarm can't be disabled (on any GE panel except Advent).

Wall mount can be disabled but I have to do some digging (not listed in the manual) "behind the scenes" to get the answer on how. I'll check tomorrow....

OK, thanks (to all.) I'll wait to hear GEGUY.

OK, just got the "new" install manual for the wall mount touchpad and have tested to verify that it indeed does the following (it does!)...

To disable the disarm function, press and hold all 4 buttons at the same time (for about 3 seconds) till the led rapidly flashes. Release all 4 buttons. Press the "AUX" button. You have now disabled disarming. When you try to disarm after doing this, the led will flash in rapid succession (telling you that it won't disarm).

To turn it back on, repeat the same steps....

Thanks GEGUY. I was able to enroll the unit and disable the disarm feature. I am able to ARM TO STAY w/TOP button once, ARM TO AWAY w/TOP button twice and turn the lights on/off using the AUX button. The ASTERISK button does not appear to do anything. I do get STATUS messages when using the the ASTERISK button on my wired keypads and also on the 60-597-95 HiTech Handheld that I have. Should the ASTERISK button on the EV-F319W give me status also? (I have the voice module installed in my system.) Thanks again!

Asterik button is the same as the star button on a keyfob...It can do 2 things. By default it controls an output (like open your garage door). Depends on how you program your available outputs. Second thing it can do is after you arm the system, you can hit it to take away entry delay time. Look under "Touchpand Options"..."Star is no delay" feature.

D'oh! Oh yeah, I should have realized. Thanks GEGUY.
