Ive read all the posts I could find on this and Im pretty close to getting it. The big problem I have is that my hum and eac terminals are 120v so I have to use a transformer if I want to use those. The directions call for using a transformer for the r and c terminals as well. Can I do any harm by simply using the continuous 24v from my furnace r and c terminals to supply the r and c of the humidistat and then just forget about using the hum terminal and use the w instead? I then wouldnt use the provided transformer at all. Not sure if I would be drawing too much from my furnace's transformer though. The furnace is an Amana GUCA 115AX50.

Just for curiosity sake, how is the transformer supposed to be mounted? Im sure I can make it work but they definitely seemed to have a plan for the screw threaded into the bent tab.

Thanks in advance

Wire your transformer to HUM.

Then the low voltage side of the transformer then goes to the humidistat 's W/G, and Cf.

then the Humidistat's R and C, run that down to R and C on the board.

I have not been around this mode/brand to know how you are suppose to mount this... So if you think you got something figured out, go ahead and do it.
