I have a 600A I purchased from *online vendor*
I see there are multiple vendors that sell Aprilaire products and parts on the web. I chose them.
I have a defective control board (just went bad this season), and I purchased a 600A system on 2/17/07.
Aprileaire has 5 yr. warranty, *online vendor*states that on their page (as well as Aprilaire), yet I call Aprilaire for support, they tell me that no products they make are warrantied if sold to anyone other than HVAC contractors. Period.

Therefore, how does one proceed to get a broken, warrantied (supposedly) item replaced?

And, where to get parts?

The search term "aprilaire parts" turns up many suppliers.

Aprilaire has dealer supported warranty along with most other HVAC components.
Where you purchased the humidifier should honor the warranty.

Control board on 600? There is none, unless you have the 700.

Or do you mean humidistat?

I would get in touch with the online dealer that you got it from and ask for warranty that they say the offer on this.
