Electronic Alarms and Home Security Devices - Ademco 4110DL problem

I have an Ademco 4110 that zone1 is no longer showing up in. Zone1 on the program sheet is the garage door. I no that this thing worked at one time. I need to no how to put this zone back in the system. When I go into zone programming the first zone that comes up is 02. Zone1 is not even in there. My keypad shows AC and Bat so I no that the battery is bad but that should not keep the zone from working. Any help would be greatly appreciated.:confused:

Could it simply be a stuck door contact? What happens if you take one of the zone wires off of the terminal strip on the motherboard?

When I take zone1 wire from from terminal I still have ready displayed on keypad. When I take any other zone wire off, I get not ready on the keypad. It is as if zone one is not programmed And I don't no how to program it. THANKS for the reply.:confused:

In programming each individual zone on a 4110DL is set in its own programming location. In programming press #31. If the data displayed for the zone is 0, the enter *31 1, then exit programming (this is assuming that this is an entry/exit door).

These panels don't use the *56 mode like the later Vista panels.

Just getting in from work. I did the #31. I got zone 1 to work in test mode but no alarm when system is armed. Also now zone 2, which is my front door is not working. Keypad says ready now when this door is open. I can't figure this thing out. I need to no what numbers to enter for zones 1 and 2. THANKS.

Went over every zone 1 at a time and now I have everthing working. Thanks a million.:)
