Hello,
Am installing NX-8V2, Zone 1 is main living area door switches. Zone 2 is basement glass breaks. Zone 3 is main living area glass breaks. The above 3 zones arm, alarm and reset great.
Having trouble with zones 9 & 10, both are wireless breaks that transmit to NX-416E. When either one of the two wireless glass breaks set the alarm; I’m able to disarm the alarm but am unable to reset the corresponding LED for it’s zone. Zone LED just rapidly blinks. Not able to put system into “Armed” unless zone is bypassed, not able to reset it with *7 on keypad either. Must shut power off for reset.
Location 27 = 6,6,6,6,6,6,6,6
Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thank-You in advance,
JAY4444

Hmmm, check your jumpers on those glassbreaks. Could you have them in test mode? Normally these don't latch in alarm. Which specific glassbreak model do you have?

I just realized that the door must be closed on the glass break for it to reset. Can’t leave it open to watch the pretty LED’s….Tamper proof!!! Model 60-834-95 Adjustable Dual Tech. Sound Sensor.

Hmmm, given that this is the 5th or 6th recent post where the resolution was to close the battery compartment on a wireless device, I guess I need to add that warning to the FAQ...
