Hello,
I was wondering if anyone could help with my ignitor problem for an Amana packaged unit, propane, model# PGA48B1152B. When diagnosing the system I was getting 240V output to the ignitor but it was not heating up. All of my research indicated I needed a #41-401 ignitor. I ordered it. I had one of my guys put it in and by the time he got back outside from making the stat call for heat, it was burned up. I did some further research and found out the 400 series ignitors are 120V. The module is a Robert Shaw #100-00813-06. I was not able to find any specs on this unit. I believe it is discontinued. My question is, if I am getting 240V output to the ignitor and all the info I get for the replacement part is the 41-401 ignitor, then is it possible the module is bad and outputting 240V instead of 120V? All other functions of the module seem to be operating properly. It is letting the valve come on, and is timing out after no ignition.

I think you need to locate a manual for that unit. The one I looked at on line showed a 230 volt ignitor. I believe it was a 201 series. The color of the wires on the original will be a help when determining which ignitor you need.
