Hello All,

I'm new to the site and was hoping someone could help me out. I've lived in the house for 2 years and the alarm has always worked fine. One day I tried to arm/disarm the system and it rejected my code. How do I reprogram a new master code without the original? Thanks for any help!

This system is in the ballpark of about 15 years old, so it could simply be starting to break down from age.

If you know the installer code (factory default: 1000):

*8 [installer code]
0
001
12 (pause) 34
# #

This should restore the master code to 1234.

It's more complicated if you don't have the installer code, because it means wiping all of the programming and starting over (admittedly, there isn't much programming in this system).
