I am installing a Honeywell HE360 on a Lennox CB26UH air handler. The air handler has no open contacts to hook up a humidifer. Can someone tell me if my plan will work?

I have ordered a current sensing relay that will sense current to the fan motor. I will hook the 24V side of this relay to my humidifier. Then I will plug the humidifier into a normal 120V outlet?

Also I have the humidistat that came with the humidifier (8980 I think). Can I mount this in the house next to the thermostat or does it have to be on the return duct? My return duct is below the air handler that is located in the garage.

Yes, that what you will have to do.
