Hi,

We have removed a 13' long section of wall between 2 carpeted rooms. We are now left with a 4" wide strip between the carpet where the wall once stood. We would like to fill this area with some kind of aluminum threshold that would be glued to the concrete floor. We could use wood too, but metal is preferable. Certainly doesn't have to be one piece.

Can someone point me in a direction where to look for such material? I guess it would be threshold material, only we don't want screw holes and wish a flatter bottom surface in order to glue it down.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Howard

sure. local, or online. metal stores. just buy a piece the size you want = 13' = no problem one piece. and glue it down. the only problem with that, is that it would be bare metal, and would require maintenance.
and aluminum does scratch kinda easy. but, how about stainless = BAMMM
