I am installing a Desert Spring humidifier, it comes with a wall 24v transformer. I would like to wire to my Trane Xe80, Model TUD100C948B0, what appears to be my issue is it has a White Rodgers Model 50A50-405 control box, which does not have EAC/HUM connections. How should I connect this up? I do not see any transformers inside the furnace. Have picts if needed.
Thanks in advance

You could wire it right to W and C on the board instead of using the transformer. But if the furnace acts up, then we need to go back to the transformer.
Did the unit come with A50 relay or a sail switch?

No A50 or sail switch. The transformer states 200ma draw.
Thanks for the reply.

I suppose they don't use/or povide it since it don't matter much with this unit. The water is in a tray, and the disk turns all the time.. no harm with that.

Well I installed today. All went well and looks good, no leaks. :-)
Hooking it to the W and C appears to work fine.
Thanks for your help.
