I wanting to add a alpha keypad to my Concord express, it currently has a fixed display keypad now.

Do I just install the wires from the new keypad to the bus terminals where the current keypad is wired to ?

Thanks in advance

Sadly, no. Concord panels supervise the keypads, and you will have to get the panel to "forget" the current one. The new one will learn in just fine, though.

Sorry new to this, I trying to add an additional keypad for a total of two keypads, why does it need to forget the current?

where do I wire the new keypad into the panel at ?

Misread your question, you want to add, not swap.

Just wire to the keypad bus terminals on your main system board (the diagram should be inside the door of the system can). Simply copy the connections the existing keypad uses (no, you don't want to "piggy back" from the existing keypad, the voltage drop on the small gauge wire will produce unreliable results).

Hello I would like to do the same thing. Have 2 seperate keypads. If I understand correctly I can run 2 seperate cables and make hookup at terminal strip on main board.

Yes. Run your wires to the same spot as the other keypad.
