Electronic Alarms and Home Security Devices - Install help Ademco 5881EN

I installed my ademco vista 20p (hw only 6 zones) a few months ago & everything works great. Now, I'm adding 5881ENH receiver and 1 5890PI as zone 10. Everything is installed & coded as per manual but I can't trigger the 5890. When I remove the 5890 cover my keypad continously beeps so I assume I am communicating with the receiver. I am puzzled about 1 thing...the rf receiver installer guide says to "set the device address to 00" Where do you set the 5881 to device 00? Also, I have programmed the 5890 as type 10 is this correct? Any help will be greatly appreciated.:wall:

You set the reciever address by setting the DIP switches as per the instructions that came with the board. They normally come set for address 00 so it's not an issue with a 20p.

A zone type 10 works, just realize that it is
A: a time delay zone, like an entry/exit door
B: and interior zone which auto-bypasses if you don't open and close and entry/exit zone.
