I'm not sure if this is the proper forum, but...
I'm about to start doing quite a bit of plumbing in my crawlspace, insulate it and put plastic on the dirt floor. There's probably 50 years worth of old spider webs under there, so as I go, I'd like to get them out and clean the place up.
The last time I was doing a lot of work in my crawlspace, I tried using a ShopVac to no avail and this time, the best I can figure is a short-handled dustmop, twirl the webs onto it and then try to peel them into a garbage bag.
Does anybody have any better suggestions?
There's a lot of them down there and it doesn't look like easy work.
Thanks in Advance

Thanks, twelvepole.
That device looks interesting and I was kind of intrigued by the spider repellent they also listed in their catalog, but I think a cheap dustmop from Family Dollar would probably be a better investment considering that I'm only going to use it for a short while in a defined space.
But again, thanks.
Your reply and the design of their stick confirmed that I was probably thinking in the right direction.
(It just means that I'm going to have to touch the things... ew)
