:wall:..I have a approx. 3x4 piece of rug to repair from my puppy chewing it, and digging at it.. I don't have any extra rug .. Intsaller is no longer in business.. Any ideas how to do the repair.. Also, the rug could be stretched.

FInd a closet in your house and remove enough of the carpet in there for the patch, then patch the closet carpet with something close.

There is no such thing as an invisible seam. Carpets can be patched, but no installer, if you are lucky to find one that will take on the job, will guarantee invisible seams. Carpet patches are usually taken from inconspicuous areas such as closets. Carpet patching is not typically a DIY project because of the skill and equipment required. Depending on type of carpet and the need to match pattern and/or weave, the project can present additional challenges.
