I have a DSC System with a PC580 Control Panel and Three DSC PC1555RKZ.
The panel has been powered down for three or four years- When we moved in we didn't want to deal with it. I decided to plug it in today.
The problem is we don't know any of the codes for it.
I tried the default installer codes, entering *8 then each one of these 1234, 5555, 6321, 1182, 1676, 1626, 5010, 1555, 5020, 9010, 1500, 1550. None of them work.
I read somewhere else that if you hear clicking when you power up the panel that means there is a installer lockout. How do I get around this?
I believe the installer was Adelphia (as there is an adelphia sign outside) I also think the previous owner had the monitoring with DEVCON.
So my question is... What do I do to reset the codes so I can use the system. I don't want to set up monitoring. Eventually I would program it to dial my cell phone or something of the nature.
Thanks.

"I read somewhere else that if you hear clicking when you power up the panel that means there is a installer lockout. How do I get around this?"
In short, short of a lucky guess at the installer code, you don't.
There is no bypass for an installer lockout on a power series panel. All you can do is replace the motherboard.

Any recommendations for a replacement? Should I get the same one?
Would this work? Thanks!. I'm a computer technician and Home Theater installer. I just don't know enough information about alarms to know what is compatible with the keypads and system is already installed.

The 1616 _should_ be compatible with your existing keypads (check the installer manual to be sure).

Does anybody know any of the installer codes DEVCON or Adelphia would use?
