I have 5 wired zones all motion and i want to add 2 wireless door contacts and 3 keyfobs . I have enough zones and the 5 wired motion zones work fine. when I try to add a wireless zone it gives me a "Check 100 RF receiver" error. The system works fine with the wired zones and sounds an alarm when faulted but i cannot get the wireless to work. HELP!!!!

Troubleshooting Check 100

The Check 100 message indicates the panel is looking for a wireless receiver on the keypad buss and does not see it or it's Tamper is tripped.

Usual Causes:

· Make sure the RF receiver is properly wired

· The RF keypad has a tamper switch on the PCB that is tripped or it is in it's program mode.

· Make sure there is only one RF receiver in the system.

The problem was that I had (like the manual told me to) the first keypad set to address 16. When I changed it to 00 it enrolled the devices with no problem. Thanks for the responses.

Re-read your instructins for the 6150RF keypad. The address setting for the keypad and the RF receiver don't work the same way as a standard, non-RF keypad. Essentially, the keypad and the receiver both have independent addresses.
