Im thinking about installing a security system. Some basic questions I have are
- will I have to arm/disarm the thing everytime i leave/enter the house ?
- do some models come with remote controls ?

Yes, you have to arm and disarm everytime you want the system to change states (some models do have an option for auto arm)
