We bought a house that has an entire wall of mirrors in one of the bedrooms. We have removed the trim mirror pieces, which were stuck to the main mirror panels with double sided tape and liquid nails. We expected to see some clips holding the main panels to the wall. However, there are none. It appears that the mirrors are glued right to the wall. Any suggestion on how to remove these without making a huge shredded mess?

I don't know if this work every time, but. I had some of those 12x12 mirrors stuck to a wall.
I used a hair drier. They were hung to the wall with what I think was liquid nail, or at least looked like liquid nail.
Anyway,
I heated the glass for a bit, and they came off. I don't know how long they were up there, or how old the glue was. It worked for me.

I've not heard of anyone removing them that way but hopefully Travis's method will work for you......... if not, about all you can do is tape up the glass and beat it with a hammer

That will result in some torn drywall when you go to scrape off the adhesive. Sometimes solvents will help to loosen the glue - but be carefull, you are in an enclosed space. Anywhere the drywall paper face is torn/missing should be coated with a solvent based primer before any joint compound or paint is applied. That will prevent the moister in latex primer/paint and/or j/c from disolving the gysum and making more paper bubble.
