I have a cabinet door with an Amerock Concealed Frame Hinges.1 1/4 Inch Overlay that is about 8 years old and broke. I purchased several replacement hinges including the same brand but the holes for the screw are slightly off.
I screw holes line up exposing half of the existing hole so I cannot put a screw in it. I cannot cover the hole with putty because I would have to tap into part of the same hole to mount the new hinge.
Do anybody have any suggestions for a fix?

Take a bamboo kabob stick, the small ones are probably about the right size. Squeeze glue into the hole, coat the kabob stick with glue, tap it into the hole, cut it off, let it dry, install the new hinges. The hinges should cover the old hole.
Hobby and craft shops have wooden dowels of many different sizes that will work the same. They can be lightly sanded or scraped down with a razor knife to fit.
