Hi,
We had our contractor add a Tonge and Groove wood porch to our home remodel and I wanted to DIY painting to save money. He mentioned that I had to use bondo and then sand it before painting. Any advise on a product of wood bondo/filler to use on a porch? Any suggestions on the procedure?
Thanks,
Peter in Seattle

Welcome to the forums Peter!

Exactly what are you trying to accomplish with bondo?
IMO it wouldn't be a good idea to fill any cracks between the boards. They will swell and shrink some with humidity changes.

Normally the T&G is stained or primed and painted as is. If it is PT T&G it may need to dry out some before any coating is applied.
