Thanks to you guys I've got the Humi installed and it seems to work fine water is trickling over the top of the filter when heat is on etc... Now that its running I'd like to put a LED in the humistat so I can tell when the humidifier is on.. It seems as simple as adding a 24v LED to the humidistat leg and a little hot glue???
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I've never added LED to anything myself.
Maybe this site (http://www.theledlight.com/ledcircuits.html) can help you. Once you got it figured out, then yeah go ahead and do it if you want.
