Architecture - Design Modular Shed

I am planning to build a 8x12 foot shed in my back yard. I want to be able to take it apart in sections and relocate it when I move out of the rental where I am now. I have had a real hard time finding designs or online resources that talk about methods or best practices to follow when taking on this sort of project.

I am a software developer with a lot of time on my hands and plan to take my time and do this right so if you can recommend any books or websites that I should read I'd appreciate it.

Preferably it should be strong enough to take 3 feet of snow and be able to be assembled and disassembled with 1-2 people.

Any tools that are must haves for a project of this nature would also be good to know about.

don't know of any designs but as for tools a must have would be a good cordless 1/2" drill with both good wood bits, and hex drive magnetic nut drivers to be able to drive fasteners, also circular saw, level, chaulk line, framing square, screwdrivers, etc.

if we're not supposed to eat animals why are they made out of meat?

I don't know of websites, but I saw modular sheds' printed plans, details, etc for few bucks at HD, Lowes, etc

I cheated. I moved mine all in one piece. I actually looked at building and selling sheds, but only modular ones when the width went beyond what I could put on a trailer. Too much work and too little profit so never went with it. But an 8 X 12 would be easy to move in one piece and cheaper to build that way. Keep your wall height down a bit and total height so it can be loaded on a flat bed wrecker or trailer and $100 will put it anywhere in town. How many guys do you know who tow around loaders or tractors. Moving a long distance and you would probably be better off selling and building a new one.

Put skids and rings on it so you can winch it up and pull it down. Some trailers have wheel wells, so you will need to go inside them or over them.

You might want to look at the vinyl sheds. They are pretty much modular and the floor could be screwed down for removal.
