I installed an Aprilaire 700 to a Bryant 340 MAV in late winter of 2006. It has worked fine. The heat is flowing in WNY and I rceived a shock this weekend when reaching for a lightswitch. Upon going down to take a look, the unit is not operating. I have the humidity controller in the return (typical install).

The red LED is not lit.
The switch on the humidity controller is to the right.
I do not have the 'change filter' led lit.

I have the temp probe outside.

I pulled the bottom cover and all the connections are in place.

Only thing I have done is spray some expanding 'stuff' in the hole where the probe goes outside/A/C hoses penetrate the wall.

I also cannot find the manual, so I am not sure what voltage and where I should be checking it.

Appreciate any advice.

Bill

WNY?

The red LED is not lit.
Do you have a meter to check power at R and C at the humidistat?

Manual book here. (http://www.ntsupply.com/files/products/56_install.pdf)

Thanks Jay.

WNY = Western New York.

Thanks also for the manual link. I have downloaded a copy.

I cycled the 120 V power to the furnace and now it is working?!? :thinker:

Will keep an eye on it.
