:wall: Our old American Standard toilet (approx 40 yrs) does not always flush all the waste on the first flush. It appear the incoming water does not have enough force to rotate the waste very fast. How can i clean the inlet holes for the incoming water? I have tried a stiff wire but this did not seem to help. Is there some type of chemical that would help dissolve the calcium deposits that must be blocking the holes. :confused:

Hi, I would use muratic acid the same stuff they put in swimming pools. I pour about a quart down the over flow in the tank. Let it set for about a half hour then flush.
Work fast when pouring it. The acid is pretty strong.
