My inexpensive four spot light assembly on the kitchen fan has one loose light socket. The bulb shakes around when the fan runs and often burns out. Does anybody know how I can tighten the socket? This is my first time posting, so please excuse any errors as I stumble through...... thanks!

It's a mechanical problem. I have no universal solution for it. First, figure out what broke or came loose. It's probably going to be really hard to see in there so use a flashlight. Then maybe you can tighten a screw or something. Whatever you do, be aware that it gets very hot in there, so if you put something (e.g., a wedge, epoxy, ...) to hold it steady, make sure that whatever it is can withstand high heat. Good luck.
