I just switched over from oil to a gas boiler. I kept the old Amtrol dial control hot water unit and try to run it using a Honywell YHR845A controller. Four wires coming in from the tank blk and wht to line voltage load and a two wire cord to the t-t terminals. I can only start the system with a momentary jumper between the thermistat wires t-t. The system runs until the dial setting is satisfied and shuts off. It will not start up on low water temperature until I make a momentary contact between t-t terminals. Do I have the wrong controller?
