I believe the contractor that installed my 600A humidifier forgot to install the gasket because my controller (Automatic #58) is picking up the ambient humidity, I can go up and breathe on it and it will shoot up to the 60% humidity. Does the gasket look like this below (see URL below). Would Lowes/Home Depot sell this? How hard would it be for me to make my own gasket from a gasket sheet at Lowes/Home Depot? From the pic's of the controller it looks like the gasket should just have a 3/4" hole for the sensor to poke through but the pic below states otherwise. How thick should it be?

Bump...
I see several people asking on how to install the 600A. Can one of you take a look at the gasket that goes between Automatic Humidifier controller and return to see if it looks like this? I am trying to see if I can pick up something from Lowes/Home Depot that might work.

Basically, if they mounted this thing and missed that you should call them back and they should install it--since they missed it.
You will not be able to get that specific part from any hardware store. You could get something similar, but I dont know if it would be a perfect fit or not.
The gasket is round, not rectangular. About 3/4". Its part # 4305 and called the "Humidifier control gasket".

As Capt. pointed out, if this was just installed, I'd call the dealer and mention this to them.. I'm sure they are going to take care of you.
No, you won't find these gasket at any Home Centers.

I only knew this part because I just installed my own. manual mentions like 5 times to install this, and it falls off easily. It may be on the ground somewhere if they were lifting it up to install it. Took me two tries... so look around with a flashlight.
