Hello
A Hunter fan was taken apart to determine the problem with the bottom part being loose. It seems the wires got twisted in trying to correct this. (This is one of the older cast models)
Now, I am uncertain how to wire it back together. The connection in the ceiling was not taken apart, so I expect once the lower part is corrected, it will work with the switch. Can anyone help with this kind of problem?
Thanks::confused:

Is there a plug type connectio that a wire has pulled out of? What wires are you trying to reconnect?
