I have a cracked fuel line on the B&S engine for my log splitter. I can remove the clamp on the fuel tank end but I cannot get a set of pliers to clamps on the fuel filter end. It is right behind the air filter housing. I can feel it with my fingers but there is no way to get a tool in there or even see what I am doing. Do I need to remove other parts to gain working access just to remove the fuel line? Intuitively it seems rediculous just for a normal maintenance item like a fuel line and filter. Sorry if this seem like a dumb question, but thanks for your help.

Just a guess, how about removing the line from the tank and the carb then pull the whole thing out replace the line and reinstall. I had the same problem and the solution came by accident when the line came off the carb while it was screwing with pulling at the filter. Have a good one. Geo
