Tankless water heater install. I'm pretty handy around tools. Is this a DIY or should I leave it to the pro's?

Is this electric or gas?
If electrical, you usually need to upgrade your homes electrical service to take the demand. ($$$$$$$$$)
If gas, you might have to upgrade the gas lines.
Either way, you should call a professional.

To add to what Mark said...
You need to find someone who is familiar with tankless systems in general and your specific brand in particular.
Everything I've seen and heard puts these in the same class as furnaces and A/C systems. Good installation is the most important thing. Not only for proper operation, but for warranty issues as well.
