We had a snow last night and one (of two) of my heat pumps is seemingly not working...the fan is not running - is there a way to check this without calling someone to come out to repair? I have two pumps and the fan on one seems to be running correctly. My concern is that the one pump is trying to heat my whole house. My house is maintaining the correct temp of the thermostat. Can anyone help??

Have you tryed to move the fan blade (the one that is not working of course) with a stick or something to make sure the snow is not simply blocking its rotation? Might be that if you break it loose it will be fine.
