this one and a soap holder, on tile. and 2 each on drywall. not damaging the tile is paramount, the drywall can be fixed.

i'm figuring = cut around the sealed edge, with what ? and then they just slide up off a bracket. correct ? what can i expect after i get them off ? i'm wanting to put nicer stuff.

thanx

They are set in thinset or adhesive in holes cut in those two tiles. You usually have to break them out. But once out, you then have two tiles with holes. If you are considering those brass or fancier holders, you will first have to fix the tile. Matching old tile is VERY difficult.
