Im converting from oil to gas and wondering if the Kenmore HE gas furnace 76141 Series is a good buy.[ 10 yrs warranty/lifetime on the heat exch].

There is not a lot of difference from one manufacturer to another. I'm not sure if that furnace is made by ICP or not (many of Sears furnaces are). Make sure a manual J is done either by yourself or an independent & the furnaced is sized according to that calculation. This was designed for hot water heat but btu's is btu's regardless if you are using hot water, warm air, electric, or whatever.
