Hey guys,

I have just noticed that I have a small gas leak coming from my fireplace.:alarm:

The leak appears to originate from my "Dante Log Lighter Valve" which is mounted in the mortar.

When I don't tighten it enough = leak
When I tighten as tight as I can = more gas leaks out
When I go somewhere in between = less of a leak but still able to smell gas.

So my question is: how do I replace the valve when it is surrounded by brick and mortar?:wall:

Thanks in advance.

how do you tighten the valve? My dad says he's got a small gas leak from his valve in the floor....I didn't know you could tighten them.
