The drum assembly of my honeywell he120 is not turning. The unit was installed with the furnace in 2001. Does anyone know if this is a quick fix or am I better off scrapping this unit ?
If I install a new unit, which model should I go with that has the same footprint? I have been reading that the he120 is on the low end of humidifiers. Thanks for your help.

probably the motor is locked up if you can prove 24Vs is there, but taking it apart might be a good idea to bench test it.

yeah, the drum type are the thing of the past.

They are only good if you don't have a floor drain near by or water rates are very high.

I would suggest the HE220 that are sold at Home Centers, it will fit over your current opening.. Just have to cut the height 2" more.
