My husband had to replace the pipe that went from the water supply to the shower head and had to remove the tiles(2) and backer board to do this. Now the tile has to be replaced, but he has been very sick and it looks like I'm going to have to do it. Is there anywhere I can buy just a small piece of backer board, cement and grout , or do I have to get the whole board, bucket etc. this is just a very small job, but I do not want to goof it up, nor do I want to use that horrible silicone grout, I'd like to do it correctly. Thanks for your help!

Hi Icandoit2,

Sure you can do it too!!!

This is a how to tutorial (http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=howTo&p=Improve/TileWall.html)
with images. There is a paragraph about bathrooms
I know you don't need to tile all the wall, but once you read it, you will get the idea

You can buy the materials at HD, Lowes, etc
