Where can I get specifications for Amana heat pumps beyond the manufacturer product web sites that only have high level information. For instance 2 contractors have provided estimates for condenser/evaporator packages as follows. Package 1 ASZ140481 & ARUF374316. Package 2 ASZ1403 & ARUF4816. Where can I go to find the differences or can someone tell me

what are you trying to do? Determine the size of an existing unit. Find a coil replacement ??? What?

It sounds like you are trying to get advice from somewhere besides the sales people who are trying to sell you a system. You can call customer service for the manufacturers. Also I think you can access the consumer reports site and get all the differences and feed back from their testing.
