I bought two America's Best Champion toilets in 2003 for my new house. They work wonderfully but they leak constantly. I replaced the seals, repositioned them, added weight to the flush tower and anything else anyone could recommend to no avail. I am now ready to trash them and buy new ones, but as my last ditch effort, I am trying to find out if there is any suitable replacement for the flush valve. I have been to all the retail stores with my question and no help. I then heard Am Standard reworked the flush valves and they are OK. If so, where can I find the new valves and where to buy them???

It's not America's Best...it is American Standard.
They are putting out Champion 4 now, which tells you the issues that have evolved since you bought yours. If you contact American Standard, they will probably provide you with upgrade parts.
It is informative to know that the American Standard Company no longer makes American Standard Plumbing products. They only make air conditioners. The plumbing division was sold off in a leveraged buyout to an investment conglomerate, and has merged with Crane and Eljer. The American Standard name on plumbing products now is essentially just a legacy name licensed to the sucessor company.

I have had the same problems with the American Standard Champion brand toilet. After replacing the guts twice in 2 years, I scrapped the toilet. I was at a sales meeting with A/S and they said those toilets have a 5 year warranty and to just bring it back for a new one. If dealing with the big box stores, you probably need to call A/S first and they will send you the toilet directly or give you a voucher. I went with TOTO after that.

Mine must have been a casting problem, because I replaced the parts twice in 2 years...
