I have a dutchwest stove model 2183 / 264 1991. I am sealing the interior seams as recommended. I have removed the interior side & back plates, taken out the grate frame from the bottom of the fire box & blocked the inlet and outlet convection ports. Turned on the fan and traced the seams w/ smoke, looking for airflow from the convection chamber. My Question, should any air flow come into the stove? Most seams were fine. But at the interior bottom front corners of the stove there is air flow. There are gaps and I can't tell weather the sealant is missing or if this is supposed to be open allowing airflow from the convection chamber. I would like to know if I should seal these gaps. Should there be any air flowing into the fire box other than from the air intake controls? Also any idea where to get the owners manual for the stove?
Thanks for any and all help.
