Does anyone have some experience with green paints or stains that was either good or bad?

Welcome to the forums!

I think a lot depends on your definition of a greenpaint. There are a lot of low or no VOC coatings that are just as good as the coatings they were designed to replace.

Stains might be another matter. An interior stain for woodwork that isn't solvent based can be trickier to apply and won't have the same effect [colorwise] on the wood as a traditional stain will.

I have tried a product that stains concrete floors that is green product it is water based sim stain concrete stain. I must be able to be applied to walls also as they have pictures of them on the website done with the stain. It worked well on the test sample I did and was easy to use. I am getting ready to order it to do my patio.
