HI,
I have two blinds in sky lights. Recently, one blind stopped lowering. It would raise only if I toggled the KES 160 switch up and down. It would raise about 3" and stop, then I would toggle the switch and it would repeat. Both blinds operate off the same switch.

I would look for a mechanical issue, not an electrical issue. The fact that the blind moves a bit every time you toggle the switch says it's getting power. If something is binding or friction is preventing smooth movement, you could burn the motor by continuing without fixing it. (Or, it could be that the motor itself is the problem, perhaps with a bad bearing?)
