I'm not sure if this is the best place to put this but atleast its in the lighting section.
I am looking for a particular type of lighting switch and unfortunatly i don't have a clue where to start.
The lighting switch i am looking for is a round push-button switch that is spring loaded so that after it is pressed it remains 'on' for a brief period (1 min or so) after which the button is pushed back out turning it 'off'. (A bit like washroom taps, the button is slowly pushed out by the spring) It is often used by Landlords in buildings of flats in exterior hallways and stairwells ensure that lights are not left on.
Does anyone know the technical name for this kind of switch or even better have a link to a DIY store where i can buy one (must ship to UK or even better be UK based)
Thanks for reading
Matt

Do a web search for time delay switch. You should find what you are looking for. If you contact a large electrical supply house in the U.K. they should either have them or be able to order one for you.
